this one is so easy…I slow cooked a pork roast in the oven, and when it was done, removed the roast and tent it on a platter for 10 minutes-ish; keeps the juices in. put the pan on the stove top (skim off any icky bits), add a large glop of jelly and whisk it all together over high heat until it bubbles…add a cold pat of butter and continue to whisk, simmer over low heat until it looks shiny and has thickened, salt and pepper to taste. so i served slices of the pork roast, poared the sauce on top…yum!!

skip the mayo and put this jelly on whole grain bread with turkey breast and a nice white cheese, like provolone…great grilled too. Or skip the turkey and load up on veggies, the jelly gives them a nice fat-free twang. also try with a chicken salad sandwich on toast

Nothing tastes like sunshine quite like fresh strawberries… unless of course they are paired with the light, fruity taste of California White Zinfandel!
This jam is the quintessential breakfast jam, perfect on toast, croissants or with bagels and cream cheese. Try stirred into oatmeal, baked into pastries or swirled in your favorite cake batter. Also yummy is to warm up this jam and pour over vanilla ice cream or cheese cake!
Recipe coming soon: Strawberry Shortcake
